The conditions on the road are terrible, it is snowing like never before. Venice is the main city of the Italian country Venetian. It is a world known city for it's canals and bridges.
Till one o'clock we finally manage to get to Punta Sabbioni. There we get on a boat to drive to the square of St. Mark. It is cold outside and constantly snowing. We take a look at the doge palace a typical example of Gothic construction. Nearby is the basilica which is the prime example of Byzantine culture. The terrace of the basilica is decorated with horses which to Venice mean pride and victory of the war.
At half past five we return with the boat to Punta Sabbioni and from there with the bus back to Slovenia. The roads are still very slippery and we encounter traffic jams. We return no sooner then at two o'clock in the morning.
