Curriculum Vitae

I'm a web and graphic designer with more then 6 years of experience, born in Slovenia and currently doing freelance work in Ottawa – Canada. I'm interested in all kinds of web page, mobile, UI and UX design but also in more traditional identity brand design. For creating I use CMS systems like Joomla, Wordpress and OpenCart as well as Photoshop and Illustrator. My knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, mikroformats, microdata and RDFa best practices work in cohesion with the above systems and software. I am also known to write some jQuery code from time to time.

Except for doing design work, I have extensive knowledge from the IT field, which I got at an IT working position for 4 years. At the position I came into contact with many technologies, from administrating the servers, software and hardware, repairing workstations, supervising the network bandwidth and implementing a backup as well as a ticketing system.

If I would describe myself I can say that I am a very communicative person, always willing to help others. I am also modest and open to constructive criticism, never afraid of stepping in a field that is on the outskirts of my knowledge. I learn fast and use the Internet as my knowledge database.
